A multi-unit building’s supply system is built around vertical risers that feed stacked units and horizontal mains that run through the garage, basement, or first-floor ceiling. We repipe building-by-building and stack-by-stack so the property stays livable the whole time.
Map the risers & mains
We identify every vertical riser and the horizontal main feeding it, then group the units by stack.
Phase by stack
We repipe one stack at a time, so only a few units lose water at once — never the whole building.
New risers in chases & shared walls
Fresh PEX or copper risers run inside the existing pipe chases and the shared demising walls between units.
Mains overhead or below
Horizontal mains are rerouted through the first-floor ceiling, garage, or basement — away from finished living space.
A shut-off at every unit
We add an isolation valve at each unit so any future service call never shuts down a neighbor.
Tenant-friendly scheduling
Work is coordinated with the property manager; water is off only briefly per unit and restored every evening.
