Serving incorporated cities and unincorporated communities from the Pajaro Valley to the San Lorenzo Valley. PEX-A 25-year or copper 30-year parts and labor warranty. CSLB #1057926.
Santa Cruz County is a different plumbing map from the Santa Clara Valley. Four incorporated cities - Santa Cruz, Capitola, Scotts Valley, and Watsonville - each run their own building department. The rest of the county, including Aptos, Soquel, Live Oak, and the San Lorenzo Valley towns of Boulder Creek, Felton, and Ben Lomond, pulls permits from County Planning and Building. Housing runs from Victorian and Craftsman streets near downtown Santa Cruz to beach cottages, Pajaro Valley tracts, and redwood hillside cabins on septic lots.
The 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake, with its epicenter in the Santa Cruz Mountains, left a lasting mix of original galvanized, 1990s copper repairs, and later splices. Coastal salt air around Santa Cruz, Capitola, Live Oak, and Aptos attacks exterior fittings. Mountain lots in Scotts Valley and the San Lorenzo Valley add long, steep indoor runs. Repipe Champions Plumbing and Rooter serves the county from our Santa Clara headquarters at 650 Nuttman St, Ste 113, Santa Clara, CA 95054, over Highway 17, using phone (408) 295-4309.
We replace failing supply lines with Uponor PEX-A or L-grade American copper. Every job carries a 25-year PEX or 30-year copper parts and labor warranty. Drywall work is patch and texture. Permit filing is included.

(408) 295-4309Pipe failure here follows geography as much as decade. Beach cottages, valley tracts, and redwood cabins were not built on the same schedule or the same pipe.
Santa Cruz beach cottages, Capitola Village, Live Oak along 17th Avenue and East Cliff, and Aptos Seacliff and Rio Del Mar still carry a large share of galvanized steel. Salt air and damp crawls shorten the life of fittings. 1950s-70s copper in those same belts is now pitting. Pleasure Point, Twin Lakes, Seacliff, Rio Del Mar, and La Selva Beach are covered on the nearest city pages rather than as thin standalone URLs.
Watsonville downtown stock and 1940s-70s tracts around Freedom Boulevard, Pinto Lake, Lakeview, East Lake, and Riverside see year-round family use on original steel or early copper. Nearby Freedom and Corralitos are listed on the Watsonville page.
Scotts Valley (city permits) and unincorporated Boulder Creek, Felton, and Ben Lomond add long hillside runs, split-level cabins, and, in much of the SLV, septic lots. Septic does not replace indoor galvanized. Loma Prieta repairs from 1989-91 often left mixed copper-on-steel joints that leak now. Bonny Doon and Davenport are covered from the City of Santa Cruz page.
